Below are the answers to some questions you might have about

Rosewood Church

What Kind of Church is Rosewood?

Rosewood is a Bible-believing Christian congregation. We are part of the Church of the Nazarene denomination. You can read more about the Church of the Nazarene & our beliefs and principles in the Nazarene Essentials publication. Check out our WHAT WE BELIEVE page!

What Time Does Church Start?

Rosewood Church holds two Sunday worship services. At the 11:00 A.M. service there are age-specific programs offered for kindergarten kids to grade 8 at Rosewood Kids

There is also a nursery available and responsible caregivers who care for infants and babies up to 47 months.

Be sure to come early to register your children into their programs.

At 6:30 P.M. we have another service with a variety of speakers, musical guests, and worship leaders, and also special events, not otherwise heard at the 11 A.M. service.

Should I Bring My Children?

Should I Bring My Children?

Of course! We know that being separated from your children can cause anxiety in some families, that's why we have created an excellent Children's Program. From the moment you enter the building, ushers and greeters will direct you to the lower level where Rosewood Kids takes place.

Pastor Jer our children's pastor has a high-energy, fun service planned each week for kids in grades 1 through 6.

Kindergarten children are taught lessons from the Bible in an age-appropriate way. There is also a nursery where parents can check in their children & toddlers to be cared for by responsible adults. Parents will be given a numbered key tag which will flash in the main sanctuary if their child becomes distressed and needs assistance.

How Long Are Worship Services?

Worship services typically last between 1 . 5 & 2 hours. We spend time in worship through song, scripture, and listen to teaching from our Senior Pastor Rev. Nick Stavropoulos or Associate Minister Rev. Lisa Outar.

What About New Believers?

Sunday School and small groups are a great way to learn and go further in-depth into the message of the Gospel and other lessons from the Bible. Learn from dedicated teachers and other believers who share their wealth of knowledge and discover what truths the Bible has.

We have many classes and groups for different ages for children and youth as well as a number of adult classes of varying sizes to best suit your needs. A greeter or usher will help direct you and your children to the best class for them.

Sunday school classes start at 9:30. Join us for free breakfast before classes start.

Contact us to inquire about our small groups.

Is There A Dress Code?

No! At Rosewood Church, we welcome you to come as you are! Our desire is for people to feel comfortable “as they are” when they come to worship. We have people who attend in every style of clothing, from more formal attire to completely casual.

What Is The Music Like?

We have a diverse worship team who lead us through God-centered, band led, upbeat and often very lively worship music. This is usually a combination of contemporary songs and some hymns. You are welcome to stand, sit, kneel, dance, sing or observe as you feel comfortable participating.
