Cancellation of Services

Dear Rosewood Church of the Nazarene Family,

David Williams, Chief Medical Officer of Health has written to all institutions asking that all gatherings of 250 people or more be cancelled until further notice to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We want to cooperate with our government officials.

Therefore, we are cancelling our Sunday School and 11 AM and 6:30 PM services for Sunday, March 15 and Sunday, March 22. Pastor Lisa’s message scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at 11 AM will be recorded and you can listen to it at our church website – or watch on YouTube

Likewise, my message (Pastor Nick’s) scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 11 AM will be recorded and you can listen to it on at our church website.

We really did not want to cancel our Sunday School and services but felt we need to cooperate with our government’s request and obviously want to do our part to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

After Sunday, March 22 we will review the situation with the virus and once again consider our government’s direction.

Obviously our church’s financial needs will continue. We would deeply appreciate it if you could drop off your tithes and offerings with Raven Mason in the church office Mondays to Fridays between 9 AM and 4 PM. You can also give online via

If the office door is closed when you drop by feel free to slip your envelope under the office door. Please do not leave cash in the church mailbox at the main entrance of the church.

Let us continue to pray for a solution to COVID-19 and for anyone who has become sick with the virus.

Please help to spread the word about the cancellation of our Sunday School and Services on Sundays, March 15 and 22 with everyone who does not have an email or who you know does not use the internet.

Thank you very much.

Pastor Nick Stavropoulos
